How to Present in Network Marketing: The 2 Skills Nobody Taught You | Marina Simone
How to Present in Network Marketing
The two skills nobody taught you — and the math that built a 60,000-person team without dance trends
By Marina Simone, Founder of Moms and Heels® + The Posting For Profits System

Let me tell you what's wrong with the network marketing industry right now.
Social media is telling every network marketer the same lie: “just post and pray every day.
Use your products on stories.
Show up consistently.
Eventually someone will ask you what it is and how much it costs.
They'll ask for the link.
You'll send it. You'll close a sale.”
That's the strategy being sold.
Here's what nobody is telling you: that strategy is going to keep youbroke.
Not because you're not working hard.
Not because your product isn't good.
Not because your warm market doesn't see you trying.
It's going to keep you broke because there aretwo skillsevery successful network marketer has — and almost nobody is teaching you either one.
Skill #1: How to turn cold strangers on social media into warm prospects who actually want to talk to you.
Skill #2: How to present your business in a way that gets people to ASK to join — instead of you begging them to click a link.
Most repsfail at the first skilland never get to the second one.Which is why their DMs are full of ghosting and their business is full of crickets.
I'm going to walk you through both.
By the end of this post, you'll know exactly how I went from being broke at a job I hated to building a personal team of 60,000+ and generating over $100 million in network marketing sales — without dance trends, without “hey girl” DMs, and without ever burning out.

The Pain You've Gotten Used to Calling “Normal”
If you're reading this, I'm guessing one of these sounds familiar:
You post every day on social media, but your reach keeps dropping
You DM strangers with “hey girl, are you open to an opportunity?” and they ghost you (if they don't block you first)
You watch other reps in your company “rank up” while you stay stuck in the same place
You've stopped telling your family how the business is really going because the conversation is too painful
You wonder if it's you — if you're just not built for this
You're exhausted by 9 AM and your phone is already full of notifications from the company group chat
Let me say something that might land hard:
You've gotten used to feeling bad and calling it normal.
That feeling? The exhaustion, the rejection, the silent panic when another month closes and the paycheck doesn't move? That's not network marketing. That's broken network marketing.
And the worst part is you've been told this is what success looks like. You've been told to just push harder. Post more. Show up more. “Consistency wins.”
Consistency at the wrong thing doesn't win. It just makes you tired faster.

The Real Enemy: The Way You Were Taught To Use Social Media
The network marketing industry has two broken systems, and they're working together to keep you stuck.. And it's getting worse.
Broken System #1: Cold DMs
The first thing most new network marketers are taught is to scroll through their Facebook friends list, find anyone who looks like a “good prospect,” and send them a cold DM.
“Hey girl!”
“Hi hun! How are you?”
“I just saw your post and thought of you — are you open to checking out an opportunity?”
Every woman in network marketing has sent these.
Every woman in network marketing has received these.
And we all know how it ends.
They go unread.
Or worse, they get the “no thanks” response.
Or even worse — you get blocked.
Your warm market is already blocking you. You just don't know it yet.
Broken System #2: Post and Pray
The second thing you're taught is to post on social media every day.
Show up on stories.
Use your products visibly.
Post your shaker bottle.
Your makeup mirror.
Your before-and-after.
Your travel pictures.
Your “caught me on my morning walk” selfie.
And then? You wait. You pray.
You hope someone messages you and says“what do you sell?”
Sometimes they do. Most of the time they don't.
And when they do, you send them the link. And they ghost you.
Social media is not the strategy. Social media is the warm-up. And nobody taught you how to actually USE it.
Both broken systems share the same root problem: they skip the steps in between. They go straight from “stranger” to “buy now” —and humans don't work that way.
Humans need to recognize you.
Trust you.
See you.
THENthey're ready for the conversation.
That's where the 333 Method comes in.
Skill #1: The 333 Method (How to Turn Strangers Into Warm Prospects)
The 333 Method is the DM warm-up strategy I built to fix the “cold DM ghosted” problem. It's the front-end of the entire network marketing funnel — the step every other coach is skipping.
Here's how it works:
The Mechanic:
3 hearts on her recent posts
3 thoughtful comments on her content (not “So cute!” — real comments)
3 story replies (engage with her stories like a friend would)
Over 3 days, BEFORE you ever DM her about your business

— — —
That's 9 unique touchpoints in 72 hours. Nine times she sees your name in her notifications. Nine times she registers “oh, this woman keeps showing up in my world.”
By the time youDOslide into her DMs, she recognizes you. The conversation feels welcomed, not weird. She actually responds.
The reason your DMs don't convert isn't your script. It's that you're DMing people who don't recognize you yet.
Why The 333 Method Works:
It's based on a principle every behavioral psychologist will confirm:humans buy from people they recognize and trust, not from people they've never seen before.
The 333 Method manufactures that recognition in 72 hours instead of 6 months.
It's how you turn a cold list of 200 strangers into a warm list of 50 women who actually want to hear about your business. And it's how every top earner in the industry secretly grows their team — even if they don't call it the 333 Method.
The Math:
Old way: DM 100 strangers cold → 2 reply → 1 takes a call → 0 sign up. Result: zero growth, blocked by 20 people.
333 Method way: Warm up 30 strangers → 15 reply when you DM them → 8 watch your presentation → 2-3 sign up. Result: real team growth, zero burnout.
Same hours of work. Vastly different outcome.
But here's the catch: the 333 Method just gets prospects warm enough to LISTEN.
It doesn't close the deal. That's what the second skill does.

Skill #2: Presenting (How to Get Warm Prospects to ASK to Join)
Here's what I did when I was stuck working a job I hated and trying to build a network marketing business on the side.
I watched the top earners. I watched the women generating 6 and 7 figures in this industry. I studied them like a researcher. And do you know what I saw them ALL doing?
Presenting.
Not posting. Not praying. Not begging in DMs.
They were doing PRESENTATIONS. Some on Zoom. Some on Facebook Live. Some on stages. Some in their living rooms. But all of them, every single one — they were standing in front of a room (digital or physical) and PRESENTING.
So I started watching their presentations on YouTube. On repeat. Over and over and over again. I studied what they said. The tone they used. The way they opened. The way they handled objections. The way they closed.
And thenI figured out how to put my own story inside their framework.
I started presenting.
The first six months? Nobody showed up. Two people. Sometimes one. Sometimes zero. I presented to my laptop screen more times than I can count.
But by month seven, people started showing up. By year one, my presentations were averaging 15-20 people. By year two, I was teaching my team how to do the same presentation. And then something incredible happened:
Suddenly there were hundreds of presentations happening every single day across my team that I didn't even know were happening. That's leverage.
That's what leverage actually looks like. Not posting to 100 followers and hoping. Not sending 50 DMs a day. It's having a SYSTEM that other people can run without you being there.

Social Seller vs. Presenter: The Math
If you take nothing else from this post, take this. The difference between the rep making $1K a month and the leader making $50K a month is not effort. It's not personality. It's not luck.
It's whether or not they've mastered both skills — the 333 Method to warm strangers up, and a real presentation to close them.Look at the comparison:
THE SOCIAL SELLER

THE PRESENTER
Social selling is a job with extra steps. Presenting is leverage. And leverage is the only way to build real residual income in this industry.

The 9-Component Presentation Framework
Once you've used the 333 Method to warm up your prospects and invited them to your presentation, here's the framework I learned from watching top earners — and that I've now taught to thousands of women.
A great network marketing presentation has 9 components. Most reps skip 7 of them and wonder why their prospects ghost them.
1. Open With Positioning
Don't start with the product. Don't start with the company. Don't start with the comp plan.
Start with this:“This isn't a normal opportunity call. This is for women who are tired of surviving and ready for something different.”
In one sentence, you've reframed the room. The audience stops asking “should I buy?” and starts asking “am I the type of person this is for?”
That's identity marketing. And it's the most underused tool in network marketing.
2. Name the Pain They Feel Daily
Don't start with ingredients or science or bonuses. Start with what's broken in their daily life.
Exhaustion. Numbness. Burnout. Anxiety. Paycheck-to-paycheck stress. The feeling of being invisible. The feeling of being stuck.
Then say the line that breaks the spell:“You've gotten used to feeling bad and calling it normal.”
3. Create the Enemy (And It's NOT a Competitor)
The enemy is never another company. The enemy is the thing keeping your prospect stuck.
Burnout. Survival mode. Playing small. The lie that exhaustion is the price of ambition.Burnout is being sold to you as success.
When you name the enemy correctly, the audience joins your movement before they ever join your business.
4. Build a Movement, Not a Pitch
Don't say “join my team.” Say “we're building a community of women who refuse to play small.”
Words that build movements: WE. Together. Founders. Leaders. Movement. Community.
Words that kill conversions: Buy. Sign up. Enroll. Don't miss out. Limited time.
5. Share Your Story (The Right Way)
Your story has 4 parts:
BEFORE: What life felt like when you were stuck
ATTEMPT: What you tried that didn't work
SHIFT: The moment something changed
AFTER: Who you are now
Don't trauma dump. Don't make it about money. Make it aboutwho you became.
6. Future Cast: Paint the Possibility
Ask the question that hijacks their imagination: “What would your life look like if you actually felt good again?”
Not “what would you do with an extra $5,000 a month.” That's a money question. People close the door on money questions.
Ask the feeling question. “What would change if you woke up excited?” “What would your kids see if you weren't exhausted all the time?” “Who would you become if you weren't operating in survival mode?”
7. Social Proof Through Stories (Not Stats)
Don't show income screenshots. Don't show car bonuses. Don't show “rank advancement” graphics.
Show transformation stories. Real women. Real changes. “Sarah was burnt out as a teacher. Six months later, she replaced her income and quit her job.” That converts. Income screenshots scare people.
8. Make the Action Feel Simple
If your close is “sign up today and start a kit and pick your products and choose your auto-ship and decide on your team name and...” — you've already lost them.
Reduce the action. “Talk to me about whether this is right for you.” “Watch the next masterclass.” “Get on the founder list.” Simple scales.
9. Close With Identity, Not Pressure
Don't end with “who's ready?!” Don't end with “spots are limited!” Don't end with desperate energy.
End with:“Founders move first. You don't need more information. You need to decide who you are.”
That's the close that creates leaders. Not buyers — LEADERS.

But Here's What I Couldn't Build in 2017
When I started teaching the 333 Method and the presentation framework from stages back in 2017, I had a problem.
Women would watch my training, get fired up, walk out of the room, and... freeze. They knew the framework. They couldn't execute it.
Specifically, they got stuck in two places:
They couldn't write the 333 Method DM scripts for their specific prospects (every woman is different, and copy-paste scripts don't work)
They couldn't write their own 20-minute presentation (the framework was right, but staring at a blank Google Doc was paralyzing)
Some women would spendweekstrying to draft their own presentation. Most never finished. The frameworks were right, but the execution gap was real.
AI didn't exist when I taught this from stage. It does now.
So I builtNetwork Marketing On Demand (NWMOD)— the AI tool that runs the 333 Method® and the presentation framework FOR you, customized to your story, your product, and your audience.
What NWMOD Does (In Plain English):
You tell it about a specific prospect — it writes you customized 333 Method® DM scripts for HER, in YOUR voice
You tell it your story and product — it writes your full 20-minute presentation using the 9-component framework
It generates your social media captions, your story content, your invite copy, your follow-up sequences
It does in 5 minutes what used to take you 5 weeks
It's not just a content tool. It's a leadership tool. It takes the two skills I teach in my masterclass and runs them for you — so you can spend your time actually PRESENTING and BUILDING instead of writing about it.

Affiliates post. Leaders present. Founders move first.

One Last Thing
You don't need more information to grow your network marketing business.
You need two skills: the 333 Method to warm strangers up, and a real presentation to close them.
If you don't know how to do either yet — that's not your fault. Nobody taught you.But it is your responsibility to fix it now that you know.
Watch the masterclass. Or start the NWMOD trial. Or both.
But please — for the love of everything — stop sending cold “hey girl” DMs and stop posting and praying. Your warm market is already blocking you. Your team is watching you burn out. Your bank account is showing you the math of social selling alone.
Become the woman who knows how to warm strangers up.Become the woman in the front of the room.
That's where the money is. That's where the leverage is. That's where the life is.
